Thankfully we had a glancing blow here in Tampa.
Hurricanes help cleanse the bay.
This doesn't show a lot of damage...but who wants to see piles of garbage.
The palms lost a lot of fronds
This B-ball had been in the bay a while, ya think.

ReplyDeleteand who named this storm anyway?? i've never heard this name, wouldn't henry or helen have been easier??
We get lots of damage from our larger storms. I can only really imagine through pictures like yours how much there is from a hurricane.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, sad photos after visit from Hermine. Hope, there are helping hands.
ReplyDeleteThat's a old BB - and lots of sweeping to be done as well!
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Just back in Melbourne!

Glad you got away lightly. Looks like some big trees down in that first photo.
ReplyDeleteI do mourn the trees - and am grateful that it seems it could have been a whole lot worse.
ReplyDeleteHello, It is sad to see the trees come down in a storm. I never thought that a hurricane could clean the bay. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
ReplyDeleteSad about the palms, and other losses. Thankful you're all okay!
ReplyDeleteIt's always a mess..but could have been so much worse. We drove around Sunday and saw a few trees down and tons of Spanish moss everywhere! I'm sure there are lots of ATVs riding around picking up branches and moss this week. Have a good day. (hope that was it for this year, don't you?!!!)
